The name is Bucket, and I am a freshman (sophomore but they said screw your credits) at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I study cybersecurity, but in my off-time, I focus on being 2 weeks ahead so I'm always 2 steps ahead of my professors. Since I was 12-ish, I've been an avid darkrp player, but more often than not I would make a server and sink countless $$$ into it with little to no reward. The best memory I can take from garrysmod was the time I started a server called 'VapeNation' and made a few grand that went towards addons and the other owner used some to buy CS:GO skins. What a lesson that was. During this time, I joined Non-Stop Networks and met Merz, a decent guy who just wanted to make sure his server stayed afloat. I met him, could not figure out how to make money at all, and left the server, sticking around in his discord to see what he had planned next and kept him friended just to chat. Died off within 3 months, had a bunch of chargebacks, and for the most part I'd left gmod to focus on other games like Overwatch, Minecraft, and dabble in Team Fortress 2. This was also about the time I'd made some serious work into my life and actually started to live. I'd had 3 girlfriends that were decent, had to watch grandparents die, and started taking courses at my local community college at 16, not to shabby eh? About this time, I was sucked back in and I stumbled on Gaminglight's SCP-RP and sunk nearly 1000 hours into commanding a unit of MTF operatives and other shenanigans. After that train wreck of an administration shunned me (and somehow subsequently fell themselves), I ended up with nothing to do anymore, and little money to run servers let alone enough for books. Refreshing my game browser showed NSN at about 35-ish players, so I hopped back on with my perm backer rank + $5mil I had donated for previously only to immediately become the richest person in the server for approximately 5 minutes where staff recalled that cash and gave me 500k to start with.
That brings me to today with a server well-past its prime needing a revival. If I am allowed, I will help the best I can with what resources I can gather (with all the time ever because college is easy).
