I wanted to start a discussion and gather people's opinions on communication.
I'm more of a "keep to myself" kind of person. I tend to just mind my own business and do what I have to do. Be it at work, at home, or even in games I just tend to keep to myself.
For example, at my job I go in, get what I need to get done, and I get out, sometimes without even speaking a single word to somebody besides greetings.
At home i'm very much the same, i'm not much of the one to spark up a conversation as I just see most of it as meaningless "small talk" just to fake being interested in the conversation.
Even on DarkRP (the server I play in this community) EVEN while with friends on discord and grouping up together, I just go to my corner and do my own thing.
I don't personally see it as a bad thing. Seemingly some people in this community believe it is an objectively bad thing. I keep to myself because sometimes there really is nothing relevant to say. If you don't have any distinguishable opinions on a topic, why even speak up? I just don't think people should be held to a standard of speaking on a consistent basis, unless they personally feel the need to.
Maybe it's only me, I just wanted some opinions.
