How many hours do you have on our server?: I am not completely sure of how many hours I have on the server right now because my hours reset, although I started playing around a year ago and I am very confident I have more than a few days, I also have the veteran role.
How many hours do you have on GMOD?: As of right now I have 520 Hours in GMOD
Do you have any previous experience with SAM or ULX?: I do not have experience with either of them, but I have used admin mods on previous servers in the past and have learned quickly
How many warns do you have on our server?: I have 1 warn on the server from a few months ago when I first started playing on the server
Have you moderated a GMod server/community before?: Yes I have moderated a gmod server before
Define LTAP: LTAP stands for leaving to avoid punishment. One example is somebody breaking NLR after being raided to kill the person who raided them, and after being called to a sit, they proceed to leave the game or the sit, to avoid getting punished.
Define RDM: RDM stands for random death match. This is when somebody kills a person or multiple people, for no apparent reason at all.
Define FailRP: failRP is when someone for example fails to use commands/adverts when raiding, or when someone switches to a government job, to arrest someone they found doing something illegal
Why should you be chosen for staff? [Minimum of 150 words]: I think that I should be chosen for a staff position on NSN because I greatly enjoyed my time on this server since I first started and I would like to help make the server, and the community, as best as I can. I'm not saying the community is not great but I would love to move up and be a moderator on the server. I believe that I would be a good person to receive a staff position because I have played and seen many things that have been enforced by staff members, I would also take every side and opinion of people in a sit unbiased and seriously and make working with solving the issue my top priority. I definitely will not abuse my power because that goes against what a mod should do I have also been an admin on other gmod servers and other staff abusing their power is not good for the server or the players. I will spend as much time as I can on the server and try to be on every day. My only goal is to keep the server as good as it is now. I really enjoy helping people and plan on helping others at the game as best as I can. I also know the rules and always keep a doc with the server rules open when I play
Describe 2 situations where a player breaks the rules and make sure to include details. Also state what you would do as a staff member to handle the situation.
[SITUATION 1] [Minimum of 150 words]: Let's say that Johnny joins the server and he decides to be a hitman. After a while, he receives a hit from somebody on Joe and works on completing it. He finds the base of Joe, his target, and his criminal friend, Bob, helps them get in, and upon entering, he completes his hit by killing him. Joe gets angry and decides to come back to get revenge but Johnny kills him again. Johnny then decides to look around Joe's base, Johnny finds items, for example, shipments, and printers. Johnny proceeds to take what he can and leave. Joe eventually comes back to find his stuff gone. There are a few problems here. First Johnny and Bob never called for a raid, which is FailRP. Second of all Joe broke NLR because he came back to where he died. And finally, Jonny stole from his base. Now let's say Joe calls a sit, in which I respond. Joe says he called the sit because his stuff was stolen. I tell them technically Joe is right for calling the sit because a hitman is not allowed to do anything else in a raid except to complete the hit. I also explain that they never called for a raid in the first place, which they need to do. I also tell Joe that even if he is killed by a hit he cannot break NLR. After telling them what they both did wrong, and tell them to try not to do it again, I encourage them to read the rules if they haven't, and I let them go back.
[SITUATION 2] [Minimum of 150 words]: Johnny and his friend Bob log on and decide they want to make a gang. Their first priority is to take over some gang territory. They head to a flag and start to take the territory. Joe, who is in the gang that owns the territory, goes there. He sees both of them taking the flag that his gang owns and decides to kill them both. Bob calls for an rdm sit, to which I respond to. Bob tells me that he was killed by Joe while taking gang territory. Joe says he killed him because he was stealing his gang territory. So I explain to them that you cannot kill someone who is stealing your gang territory, and let them go. So a while later, Johnny and bob are walking through the town, and Joe, still angry about earlier, RDMs both of them. So another sit is called with Johnny and Joe. I listen to both of them and johnny tells me that he and Bob were RDMed by Joe. I ask Joe what he has to say about it and he says he had no reason he was just angry at them. So I tell Joes that he cannot kill them because he is mad at them. I send Johnny back and give Joe a warn for committing rdm twice.
[SITUATION 3] [Minimum of 150 words]: A player new to the game joins in starts typing up a bunch of stuff in chat throughout his time playing. Eventually, he starts getting toxic and insulting people, using many cuss words. I bring him and ask why he's swearing at everyone and being really toxic. He starts complaining,. Saying he shouldn't be in a sit and won't stop talking and eventually insulting me. I tell him he can't talk like that at all and needs to stop being toxic. I tell him he shouldn't be that negative in the server and let him go with a warn. I keep watch over him though to see if he hopefully stops. Alas, he starts getting in chat fights and swearing a ton again. So I call him in and ban him from around a day to a week for being toxic, excessive swearing, and harassing people.
